Klockner-Moeller to Siemens S7-1500 Upgrade

A press machine with an old Klockner-Moeller PLC and “hard-wired” HMI panel needed upgrading to a Siemens S7-1500 PLC and Comfort HMI panel. The code was transcribed from a scanned printout to Siemens STEP 7 (TIA Portal). A recipe function was added to store and recall machine parameters for different types of bricks to be produced.
